However, I had neither read nor heard of the books Silo is based on. The story is good and interesting. The series takes place 140 years after the end of the world. Now the remaining 10,000 people live in the tank, and these people have never been outside the tank. They don’t even know what stars are. However, they know that going outside the tank is fatal. Some people want to go out to learn more, but they always die. Those trapped in the tank can see through the window every time someone wants to go out and see how and when they die. Rebecca Ferguson plays Juliet Nichols, who tries to figure out what’s outside the tank and why they can’t get out without dying. The acting is good, as is the character development. However, the pace can be a little slow because there are some filler sequences. There’s no doubt that they could have shortened the series by at least two episodes, but that doesn’t bother me that much because the series is very good overall. I’m looking forward to season 2 with more suspense, mystery, and answers to what's going on. #39 outside the tank!
