Synopsis
Follows a group of military superhumans consisting of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, a Frankenstein’s monster, and a gorgon. Gunn then helmed the project himself when he became CEO of DC Studios. Series writer and creator James Gunn appears in the opening credits with a laptop writing the script. .
Only 3 episodes in and I’m already hooked
Appeared in AniMat’s Crazy Comic: The Return of the King (of the Hill) (2023). Moliendo Café (Ground Coffee) (Unregistered) Traditional[Title Series Music]. They’ve done a great job with the casting, voice acting, writing, and even the music. Not only are they great songs, but they’re also fitting and grounded in the story.
They’re not perfect or boring
In the few episodes I’ve seen, the characters have already developed depth and personality. For now, they’re giving less weight to the main plot so that each character can be given a backstory, this continues their development as a team and as individuals. Which I think is a great way to start. Even though this is happening, I don’t even notice how little the main plot progresses, the series is full if comedic relief, but you can also feel yourself getting attached to the characters.
