When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they landed Harrison Ford on the show, Segel said Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and would audition people similar to Ford.

Segel told Goldstein that they should at least pitch him to Ford first, thinking he would immediately turn him down, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had been brought on, sparking interest from other notable actors. Ultimately, Goldstein talked to Ford and convinced him for the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was thrilled nonetheless.
This show slaps!!
The characters have a lot of development even in the first and second episodes, the jokes are perfectly timed and executed, and the entire cast does a superb job! This is one of the best episodes of Piolet I’ve seen in a long time! Harrison Ford does an incredible job in his supporting role and Jason Segal does a wonderful job playing a flawed and damaged character who is trying to be a better person and father.
This is one of the best shows I’ve seen in a while!
This show made me laugh like I haven’t in a long time. As a psychology major, this show is hilarious, and as a theater major, I can appreciate how fluid the storyline is. I can’t understand the negative reviews because this is already one of my favorite shows after only two episodes.
I hope the rest is as good!!
